"Peel police have charged a 70-year-old man with forcible confinement after he allegedly posed as a ride share driver at a Brampton mall. The incident occurred on Dec. 8 when the man driving a grey 2008 Nissan Altima picked up a woman he did not know from the Trinity Common Mall then drove away, police said in a news release Thursday. According to investigators, the woman realized he was not a ride share driver and asked him to let her out."
"The man then forcibly confined her, police alleged. He was arrested and charged the next day, police said. Investigators said there may be other victims. Anyone with more information is asked to contact police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers."
