Toronto police responded to a parking lot near Don Mills Road and Gateway Boulevard around 10:20 p.m. after reports of a collision. The incident began when two men argued and one man got into his car and struck the other; when the driver reversed he allegedly struck a second man. A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and a 28-year-old man was treated at the scene for minor injuries. A 33-year-old man from Markham was arrested at the scene and charged with attempted murder and multiple related offences. Anyone with information was asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

In a news release on Thursday, police said the incident allegedly began when two men got into an argument and one of the men got into his car and struck the other with his vehicle.
A 50-year-old man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, while a 28-year-old man was treated at the scene for minor injuries, police said. Police said a 33-year-old man from Markham was taken into custody at the scene and has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of assault with a weapon, mischief over $5,000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, and uttering threats.
