"A 47-year-old Toronto man has been arrested and charged after a 34-year-old woman died in a crash in Scarborough in November, police say. The man, who was arrested Thursday, has been charged with dangerous operation of a conveyance causing death, Toronto police said in a news release Thursday. Police said the charge stems from the crash of a grey Ford F350 pick-up truck in the area of Markham Road and Finch Avenue E. on Nov. 5 at about 6:45 p.m."
"The man was scheduled to appear in court Thursday. In the release, police said the man was northbound in the pickup on Markham Road just south of Finch Avenue E., with the woman as a passenger, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed. Police said on social media that the man had crashed "in an industrial area" of Scarborough. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."
