The $50,000 trip included $28,206 for round-trip flights to Munich, $15,973 for hotel rooms, $2,422 for meals, and $2,135 for a Volvo SUV rental.
Trustees from the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board will repay the $50,000 in travel expenses incurred during their art-buying trip to Italy.
A spokesperson for the BHNCDSB confirmed that the trustees agreed to repay all travel expenses but did not provide further comments on the trip.
