Arjun Nimmala, a 20-year-old shortstop, has been promoted to Double-A New Hampshire after 142 games with the Vancouver Canadians. He started the season strong, posting a .241/.360/.482 slash line with four home runs and 19 RBIs in 22 games. His previous season at Single-A showed a .224/.313/.381 line with 13 home runs. Despite facing older competition, the Blue Jays are impressed with his development. Nimmala is ranked No. 67 on MLB's top 100 list and is seen as a future power-hitting shortstop.
