22-year-old Mississauga man charged with impaired driving, speeding in connection with fatal April collision | CBC News
"A Mississauga man is facing several charges, including impaired driving and speeding, related to a collision in April that killed a 20-year-old man, Peel police say. The collision happened on April 1, 2025, when the driver of a Mazda 3 collided with a Jeep and then a pole at the intersection of the Erin Mills Parkway and Vista Boulevard, police said in a news release Monday."
"The driver of the Jeep was not seriously injured, but the driver and passenger of the Mazda were taken to hospital with serious injuries and the passenger later died. Police say the Mazda's speed is considered "a primary factor" of the crash. They announced multiple charges against the driver Monday, including dangerous operation causing death, driving while impaired by drugs, and racing a motor vehicle. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Peel police or to leave a tip by calling Peel Crime Stoppers."
