"Much of Agatha Christie's Seven Dials was filmed across Bristol, with beloved venues standing in for fictional settings remodelled to fit in with the 1920s. The interior of the Seven Dials Nightclub is, in fact, Barrel House, a popular haunt where Detroit-style pizza is sometimes served to the sound of live music. The nightclub's exterior, stairways and the vicinity utilised the likes of Queens Square, All Saints Street and Clare Street."
"...Badminton House delivered on that, because it's a private home, it's sort of romantically crumbly, but also completely lavish and beautiful. And the people who live there are charming and lovely, and I think that comes across in the home, and that was a real find, because ultimately, most of these incredible houses are not private and available to rent."
Badminton House served as the location for the opening party in the fictional Chimney's, chosen for its romantic, crumbling yet lavish character and private-home charm. The production highlighted Badminton's historic South Gloucestershire setting and connections to other period productions. Much of the series was shot across Bristol, where existing venues were remodelled to evoke the 1920s. Barrel House provided the interior for the Seven Dials Nightclub, while exterior stairways and nearby streets such as Queens Square, All Saints Street and Clare Street were used for on-location scenes.
