"Genuinely I'd lose my job. Plus, there's no fun in knowing. When Alan won, my husband and youngest son couldn't stop screaming and crying, and shouting, 'but you knew'."
"What happens in this series is truly extraordinary, with moments that made me gasp. I can't wait for people to see it. The producers have the greatest minds on Earth."
"The Scottish Highlands might be the most beautiful place on the planet. It's a privilege to spend so much time surrounded by the jaw-dropping landscape. I've never been anywhere like it. There's something about the expanse of sky, the breathtaking lochs, and the flora and fauna."
"It's nerve-racking, but I don't choose them alone. I interview all the players and some are absolutely desperate to be faithful. Anyone who convinces me otherwise is in contention."
The Traitors returns to BBC One on New Year's Day with a fourth series filmed in a Scottish castle. Twenty-two contestants from across the UK compete in a game of deceit and betrayal for a prize pot of up to £120,000. Claudia Winkleman oversees challenges and helps select secret traitors who attempt to eliminate faithful players and claim the prize. Winkleman described the Scottish Highlands as breathtaking and said the series contains extraordinary, gasp-inducing moments. She said she cannot reveal spoilers and that she interviews every player, with some desperate to be faithful and others convincing her they are loyal.
