According to Puck News, he's finalized a new deal that covers both film and television projects: the film agreement spans eight years beginning in March 2026, while the television pact kicks off in 2028 and runs for five years. Sheridan created Yellowstone and its spin-offs 1883 and 1923, and developed Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Lioness, and Landman, with most series currently on Paramount+. The new arrangements include an eight-year film agreement beginning March 2026 and a five-year television pact starting in 2028. Existing Sheridan projects will remain at Paramount. Paramount retains the intellectual property rights to Yellowstone and therefore controls any future Yellowstone spin-offs rather than Sheridan.
