Global advertising spend reached £283bn, with internet advertising expanding at an average annual rate of 17.9% between 2010 and 2014, reaching £80bn in 2014. UK online TV revenues from services such as Amazon Prime, Netflix and YouTube rose by £278m to £908m. The UK online TV market remains small compared with the US, which generated close to £7bn.
