Peacock is throwing a NYC "house party" for two nights only to celebrate the new season of 'Ted'
"To celebrate the new season of Ted, Peacock is taking over The Gutter for a house party that will take things all the way back to 1994. The Lower East Side bowling alley will trade its usual dive-bar cool for two nights of senior-year chaos, inspired by Ted and John's latest misadventures."
"The party is set to be a throwback basement bash, complete with analog charm and IRL energy. There will be bowling (with a Ted twist), classic games, retro surprises, exclusive clips from the show, a few irreverent Easter eggs and nods to the show's working-class Boston roots."
"In this season, it's senior year for Ted and his best friend John Bennett. It's 1994, flannel is in heavy rotation and the pair are still living under the watchful eye of John's parents and outspoken cousin. Expect family friction, teenage delusion and Ted's signature lack of filter."
Peacock is hosting a special event at The Gutter bowling alley on March 6-7 to promote the second season of Ted. The party recreates a 1994 senior-year basement bash with '90s nostalgia, bowling with Ted-themed twists, classic games, retro surprises, and exclusive show clips. The venue transforms from its usual dive-bar atmosphere into a celebration of the show's Boston working-class roots and irreverent humor. All eight episodes of season two premiere on Peacock on March 5. The event is free and first-come, first-served, welcoming ages 18+ until 7pm and 21+ afterward, running Friday 4pm-1am and Saturday 1pm-1am.
