""She's good," he said on the Nov. 14 episode of TODAY. "She's just angry that she's not allowed to get back on the horse yet. She does have to take that time to recover.""
""It's the most dangerous, nerve-wracking sport that I've ever watched and witnessed, but she loves it," he said. "She's so dedicated and she has the discipline at 15 that took me into my 40s to getting. You think I get up early and do things to prepare? She's a machine!""
""She was worried we would be too concerned because of the dangers that we wouldn't let her ride again, but she's passionate about it so we have to let her pursue that," he added."
Grace, 15, broke her collarbone during an equestrian competition and was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. She is recovering and frustrated that she cannot ride yet. Equestrian competitions are described as dangerous and nerve-wracking, but Grace remains passionate and unusually disciplined for her age. Family members include siblings Ella, 22, Brendan, 17, and Michael, 19. Grace posted a hospital photo with her arm in a sling and captioned "No pressure we will be back." Her father notes he rides for films only and joked he is the "workhorse."
