MAFS UK bride announces relationship with woman after failed marriage to man
"Married At First Sight UK bride Rebecca Fenney has gone social media official with a female professional footballer, not long after she split from her TV groom Bailey Smith. Fenney and Smith were described as the "strongest couple" on this year's series of the reality marriage show but announced last month that they had called time on their relationship in July after the experiment finished."
"On Thursday (18 December), Fenney went Instagram official with her new partner Lily Woodham, who also plays for the Wales national team and in the Women's Super League for Liverpool, in a series of cute posts. "Here's my 'new love'," Fenney wrote in the one post which contained loved-up pictures of them in Manchester's Gay Village. "My 5ft 4\" alpha," she added, clearly poking fun at her MAFS non-negotiable that she needed to be paired with an 'alpha male'."
Rebecca Fenney publicly confirmed a relationship with Lily Woodham on Instagram following her split from Bailey Smith. Fenney and Smith had been described as the 'strongest couple' on the series but announced they ended their relationship in July after the experiment finished. Fenney said she 'wouldn't class' herself and Smith as friends post break-up but has 'no ill feelings towards him' and called what they shared 'so special'. Fenney posted loved-up images in Manchester's Gay Village, shared playful captions about Woodham being her '5ft 4" alpha', and featured a clip with a 'Will you be my girlfriend' sign. Co-stars and fans responded with supportive comments. Woodham plays for the Wales national team and Liverpool in the Women's Super League.
