Briefly

Barack Obama and Larry David are collaborating on a new sketch comedy series for HBO, commemorating America's 250th anniversary. Titled as yet untitled, the series will be produced by Obama’s company, Higher Ground. It will feature sketches written by David and his partner Jeff Schaffer, including appearances by former Curb Your Enthusiasm cast members. The project aims to celebrate the unique history of the nation and marks Larry David’s return to HBO after a successful run with his show, Curb Your Enthusiasm.
"I've sat across the table from some of the world's most difficult leaders and wrestled with some of our most intractable problems. Nothing has prepared me for working with Larry David."
"After a violent allergic reaction to the suds, I yearned to return to my simple life as a beekeeper, harvesting organic honey from the wildflowers in my meadow."
"We're thrilled that Larry is coming back to HBO, this time with Higher Ground, to give us a glimpse at our shared history as we celebrate our semiquincentennial."
"The series will be the first project from Higher Ground, the production company founded by Obama and his wife Michelle after he left office in 2017."
