For All Mankind Renewed for Sixth and Final Season by Apple TV
""Getting to explore the For All Mankind universe over six seasons has been an amazing privilege, and we're thrilled to have the opportunity to finish the story the way we've always hoped," said creators Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi in a statement."
"In Season 5, Earth has already colonized both the Moon and Mars, and who knows how much further humanity will progress by the series finale?"
"Kinnaman and Wrenn Schmidt are the only two actors who have remained with the show since Season 1 - Schmidt, too, is now heavily aged-up to play former NASA engineer/Soviet defector Margo Madison."
Apple TV has confirmed the renewal of For All Mankind for a sixth and final season, coinciding with the premiere of Season 5. The series will transition from 2012 in Season 5 to the 2020s in Season 6, reflecting significant advancements in its alternate universe, including colonization of the Moon and Mars. The fate of returning cast members, particularly Joel Kinnaman's Ed Baldwin and Wrenn Schmidt's Margo Madison, remains uncertain as they age significantly in the storyline. Season 5 premieres on March 27th on Apple TV.
