"Every year, the Conklins - Belly's brother, Stephen, and mom, Laurel - spend the summer at the Fisher family's beach house with Jeremiah, Conrad, and their mom, Laurel's best friend Susannah, in the idyllic (fictional) town of Cousins, Massachusetts.
