"Because you need to call me and hear my side of this. You've known me for many years, and we've worked [together] for many years... But before you make that statement, you know me, you've known me all these years, give me a call so I can give you the real scoop about this. And that didn't happen, and that was too bad."

Chris Noth says he is no longer friends with Sarah Jessica Parker after she and the Sex and the City cast publicly supported the women who accused him of sexual assault in 2021. Noth criticizes Parker for not calling him to hear his side and for issuing a public statement he describes as brand management. He called the statement sad, disappointing and surprising and said he would have expected a personal conversation after years of working together. Noth concluded that the split clarified who his real friends are and that he would have acted differently.
