Ubisoft briefly posted and then deleted an announcement about a Far Cry TV series after an accidental upload. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the project and the series is headed to Hulu and Disney+. Noah Hawley signed a new 10-year deal with FX, and the Far Cry series is his first new project under that deal. Rob McElhenney (now going by Rob Mac) co-created the series with Hawley. The show will be an anthology with a new story each season, mirroring the variable themes of the game series. Plot details remain under wraps.
