Phil Spencer, long-time Xbox leader, is retiring from his role as CEO of Microsoft Gaming. Asha Sharma, President of Microsoft's CoreAI division, will become Executive Vice President and CEO, Microsoft Gaming. Matt Booty, head of Xbox Game Studios, will be promoted to Chief Content Officer and will report to Sharma. Sarah Bond, President of Xbox, is resigning and leaving Microsoft to "begin a new chapter." Spencer joined Microsoft in 1988 and led Xbox since at least 2001.
