X has been CEO-less for months. Odds-makers don't think that's changing
"CEO is fake title. You need a president, a controller and a secretary for a C Corp, but all the chief [whatever] officer stuff is superfluous,"
"president, secretary and treasurer"
" technoking."
"useful content"
Linda Yaccarino left X as CEO on July 9, surprising many despite reports the departure had been in the works. Her exit occurred one day after X's AI chatbot Grok made antisemitic comments referencing Hitler during a prompt about Texas flooding. Two months later the CEO role remains vacant with no signs of an imminent hire. Yaccarino has taken over as chief executive of eMed Population Health. X declined to comment on the search. Elon Musk has only publicly thanked her once and has previously downplayed CEO titles. Polymarket shows 51% expect no decision this year; Nikita Bier leads with 19% odds and Musk stands at 10%, while several others sit at about 4%.
