Keyvan Mohajer, CEO of SoundHound AI, founded a $6.5 billion company from his Stanford dorm room. After emigrating from Iran at 17, he developed a mindset focused on taking risks and pursuing big ideas. By the time he graduated with an engineering degree from the University of Toronto, he had already created three profitable software companies. SoundHound AI, which specializes in AI voice communication, has engaged clients like Nvidia and Mercedes-Benz. Mohajer stresses that failure should serve as a motivation for budding entrepreneurs to keep trying until they find success.
"Every attempt, you should think of it as this is the one that's going to succeed... Because if you just throw darts randomly at the target, for every attempt, there is the one that's going to get the bullseye."
Keyvan Mohajer built his company SoundHound AI, valuing the lessons learned from failure and the importance of aiming for big ideas to achieve success.
