The no-fail eLearning option for renewing a California driver's license is now available in Mandarin, reflecting the DMV's commitment to accessibility for all residents.
The eLearning course, which can be completed in about 40 minutes, allows multiple tries for each question and fulfills the knowledge test requirement for renewal.
Drivers aged 70 and up can still use the eLearning course at home, but must visit a DMV office for the final steps of renewal.
For those preferring the traditional test, it can be taken online with proctoring or at DMV offices, with a requirement of at least 20 correct answers to pass.
