Crusoe is expanding its datacenter campus in Abilene, Texas, by adding 900 megawatts of capacity to support Microsoft's AI ambitions. This new campus will be adjacent to a 1.2 gigawatt facility being built for Oracle and OpenAI. The expansion will include two new data halls and an on-site power plant. The total capacity of the site will reach 2.1 gigawatts, although only 200 megawatts of existing projects are operational. The new facilities are expected to be operational by mid-next year.
