Microsoft has settled its European cloud complaint - but rivals are calling it a "pay off"

A report from CISPE suggested non-Azure platform users paid a 20% surcharge on Microsoft software, totaling over €1 billion for European businesses.

Microsoft agreed to open its Azure Stack for European hosters and establish an oversight body within nine months, or risk a revived complaint, with a €20 million financial settlement expected for CISPE.
