After installing recent updates, users may encounter issues upgrading from Windows Pro to Enterprise, leading to OS upgrade failures with 'Access denied error (error code 0x80070005)' in Task Scheduler.
No workaround currently available; Microsoft is working on a solution to be included in a future Windows update.
The problem seems to have originated from April 2024's update; Microsoft acknowledged the issue recently but has not yet added it to the Release Health dashboard.
