Lucid Motors' SVP of digital, Mike Bell, resigned to pursue other opportunities. He will serve in an advisory role through August, receiving a $125,000 consulting fee.
Derrick Carty, Lucid's VP of platform software, and a former Apple employee, will serve as an interim replacement for Mike Bell.
Mike Bell had a notable career, including time at Apple, Intel, and as Rivian's first CTO. His departure coincided with Lucid's Q1 earnings announcement of a $680 million loss.
