Lenovo is introducing the Legion Go S, a handheld gaming PC that rivals the Steam Deck by offering SteamOS at a competitive price of $499.
This new device features a 120Hz variable refresh rate screen, an exclusive AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip, and aims to resolve previous complaints regarding ergonomics.
Lenovo plans to hedge its bets by also releasing a Windows version of the Legion Go S, which will debut four months prior to the SteamOS model.
Valve representatives indicate that the collaboration for the SteamOS version is still ongoing, with features like RGB lighting and configuration options pending development.
