According to the latest JumpCloud report, small to mid-size enterprises (SMEs) are increasingly adopting Macs, with 35% of IT teams anticipating increased deployment over the next year.
Despite the growing popularity of Macs, 47% of IT leaders still expect to increase Windows deployments, indicating a continuing dual-platform strategy.
In the UK, the adoption of Macs has reached 25.3% among SMEs, slightly surpassing the 22.8% in the US, demonstrating a significant shift in technology preferences.
IT teams recognize that as platforms become more insecure, the need for larger budgets and staff increases, which in turn shapes their technology choices.
