Google Search is reintegrating access to historical web content by linking to the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, providing users with insights into website changes over time.
The Wayback Machine, which houses billions of archived webpages, allows users to view prior versions of websites, essentially preserving the history of the internet.
Danny Sullivan expressed anticipation in February regarding the inclusion of Internet Archive links in search results after the removal of cached pages—now, this has been realized.
To access archived web content in Google search results, users can click on the three dots next to a search entry and select 'More about this page'.
