WATTALPS, a French lithium-ion battery startup, has raised €11M to enhance battery technology, significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity and market presence.
The funding will facilitate an increase in production capacity from 2,000 to over 16,000 batteries annually, targeting a turnover of €100 million within five years.
WATTALPS plans to double its workforce to 40 people in 18 months and anticipates exceeding 100 employees by 2028, showcasing its growth strategy.
Utilizing patented immersion cooling technology, WATTALPS aims to improve the productivity and cost-effectiveness of its modular, high-performance lithium-ion batteries.
