Check Point has acquired Veriti, a company pioneering a fully automated approach to vulnerability management in multi-vendor environments. This acquisition aligns with Check Point's strategy to achieve a hybrid mesh security framework, enabling faster identification and resolution of security risks. Veriti's innovative Preemptive Exposure Management (PEM) utilizes real-time analysis of logs and threat indicators, facilitating immediate and effective virtual patching. The integration with Wiz further enhances threat exposure management by converting cloud insights into actionable patches, significantly reducing patching time from weeks to minutes, thus proactively combating vulnerabilities before they are exploited by attackers.
"Security teams today suffer from a lack of action: exposures aren't just detected, they're compounding, hiding in the gaps between tools, teams, and timelines," said Adi Ikan, CEO of Veriti.
Veriti's technology continuously analyzes logs, threat indicators, and vulnerabilities from different systems. It then automatically distributes a patch in real time to provide protection.
