"We are well on our way to meeting this goal," said Boost's chief technology officer, Eben Albertyn, emphasizing their progress in the 5G network rollout.
While Boost's network is being built, service has mainly been provided through AT&T and T-Mobile as an MVNO. The company cannot specify traffic percentages.
Meredith Diers, Boost's director of communications, noted they have migrated over half a million customers onto their network since the beginning of the year.
Considering only a couple of years ago there was just one phone compatible with the network, the ability to directly load new customers indicates significant development.
