Palmer Luckey, founder of Oculus VR and Anduril Industries, is bringing virtual reality technology to the military to enhance soldiers' capabilities and safety.
Luckey stated, 'The idea is to enhance soldiers — their visual perception, audible perception — basically to give them all the vision that Superman has, and then some, and make them more lethal.'
In a statement, Robin Seiler of Microsoft emphasized the collaboration with Anduril, highlighting that the integration of Lattice into IVAS will allow soldiers to see real-time threats.
Reflecting on his past, Luckey commented on his ousting from Facebook, asserting, 'I am one of the smartest people in the VR industry, I think.'
