According to a user, "It works on a Windows 10 machine, but not on Windows 11, unless both the computer and the scanner are on wired Ethernet," highlighting compatibility issues.
A Canon technician described the problem as "erratic," noting that it might work or fail randomly for different users, further complicating the support response.
Canon acknowledged the issue and confirmed they are working with Microsoft on a fix, stating it’s uncertain when a solution will be delivered.
