Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, is a 27-year-old self-made billionaire who owns more than half of a company valued at $5 billion. He currently has negative cash on hand and is borrowing money while reinvesting heavily into his business. He has at times borrowed personal funds, including from his mother for his wedding, and occasionally spends on large items such as a private jet rental. Beast Industries remains a startup with cash-flow constraints and limited options to liquidate equity because it is not publicly traded. Donaldson focuses intensely on work and personal bank balances receive little attention.
