The new hotel gives us a lot more flexibility in terms of managing the total experience. Presently, guests who arrive in Puerto Williams for a flight to the ice are scattered around town at a variety of hotels. With our own lodge, we can ensure that all guests are in the same place, simplifying logistics and enhancing their experience as they prepare for the adventure of a lifetime in Antarctica.
This will cut down on the travel time significantly, by about 40 percent, the number of days that you need to enjoy Antarctica to the fullest. Typically, guests have to sail for over a day from South America to Antarctica, but with our new lodge, they’ll take just a two-hour flight to King George Island, optimizing their travel experience.
