"Excitement. Pure excitement. Soon as I saw the name it was cool let's do it," Magny told reporters on Wednesday.
"I know a lot of people saying this is a test for Mike Morales the fact that he's fighting a veteran. It's a test for me as well. It's a very difficult fight, it's a very difficult matchup, he's undefeated for a reason."
"He's undefeated UFC for a reason. When I saw that matchup I was alright cool. The bar just got set pretty high and I'm going to do my best to go out there and just knock it out the park," he said.
"Every fight should be more difficult as far as like the preparation that kind of thing, but even the mental part of it as well. Some of the questions you get asked all week where it's like, 'Oh another up-and-comer,'" he said.
