Companies swoop in to take over former Megabus routes out of NYC | amNewYork
Briefly

Following the bankruptcy of Coach USA, Trailways Transportation and Peter Pan Bus Lines are stepping in to operate former Megabus routes, maintaining service levels for travelers.
Trailways is set to take over three key routes to Pittsburgh, Toronto, and Montreal while Peter Pan Bus Lines will handle trips along the Northeast Corridor to Boston and Washington DC.
Despite these transitions, there won't be any service reductions at the Port Authority Bus Terminal as the new operators will continue existing routes previously managed by Megabus.
The coach industry continues to face challenges post-COVID, with many companies, including Megabus, struggling to regain ridership and being forced to close or restructure.
