Borderlands Is No Longer The Biggest Box Office Flop Of The Year
Briefly

The Crow reboot released on August 23 to negative reviews from critics and moviegoers. After its opening weekend, it only earned $4.6 million domestically at the box office.
One thing to keep in mind is that Borderlands cost a reported $120 million to produce. The Crow reboot only cost $50 million.
Alex Proyas, the director behind the original Crow film, has been having some fun over the reboot flopping. On August 25 he posted on Facebook: "I thought the remake was a cynical cash-grab. Not much cash to grab it seems."
