A defense startup says it can fix America's ammo problem with China using a new low-cost cruise missile
Briefly

Anduril’s Barracuda missile family can be produced rapidly and economically, addressing potential ammo shortages for the US in near-peer conflicts.
'We have designed Barracuda to be able to range across a series of targets - from ground-based targets to maritime targets to others,' said Chris Brose.
The Barracuda missiles are claimed to require 50% less production time and 95% fewer tools, drastically reducing costs and enhancing operational readiness.
As the US military ramps up its readiness against potential conflicts with Russia or China, the Barracuda could provide a critical advantage in sustaining munitions.
