"Google Antigravity, the company's agentic development platform, will include an optional bundle that will install the tools and knowledge included in Android CLI, so it can also perform the core tasks for Android app development, Google says."
Google announced Android CLI version 1.0 is stable for developers using AI agents to build Android apps. The CLI can be used regardless of the agent’s preferred coding platform. A new android studio command lets AI agents retrieve Android development knowledge and tap into Android Studio capabilities for a project. From that starting point, agents can use additional commands and tools to complete development tasks. Google Antigravity will offer an optional bundle that installs the Android CLI tools and knowledge, allowing the platform to perform core Android app development tasks as well.
