YouTube child star Piper Rockelle claims she made $2.9 million in 1 day on OnlyFans
"Piper Rockelle, an 18-year-old influencer who first made a name for herself as a child on YouTube, has launched an OnlyFans account to kick off the new year and she says she's already raked in a pretty penny. Just under 24 hours after launching the page on Jan. 1, Rockelle shared a screenshot of her earnings, claiming she made more than $2.9 million on the platform. My first day! Forever grateful, she wrote on X."
"Rockelle first teased her decision to launch an OnlyFans page while speaking with Teen Vogue for a profile published on Aug. 21, the day she turned 18. It's nobody's decision but mine, she said at the time. I feel like if my viewers are allowed to joke about [me starting an Only Fans when I turn 18], then I am. You know what I mean? Why would I let them get the laugh when I should get it first? Because it's my life, not theirs."
"Rockelle was just 8 years old when she first caught the internet's attention in 2016, when her mom started posting videos of her on YouTube. Over the next few years, the online personality amassed millions of subscribers and eventually teamed up with other kid influencers in a group called the Piper Squad. But in 2022, the Squad faced controversy when Rockelle's mother, Tiffany Smith, was accused of abuse and exploitation in a lawsuit brought by 11 teenagers and their parents."
Piper Rockelle, 18, launched an OnlyFans account on Jan. 1 and shared a screenshot claiming more than $2.9 million in earnings within 24 hours. She previously claimed to have earned $1 million in less than an hour, a tweet later deleted. She first teased launching OnlyFans while speaking with Teen Vogue on her 18th birthday and said the decision was hers. Rockelle began appearing online at age 8 when her mother started posting videos on YouTube. She amassed millions of subscribers and joined other child influencers in the Piper Squad. In 2022, a lawsuit by 11 teenagers and their parents accused her mother, Tiffany Smith, of abuse, exploitation, sexually explicit comments, and unpaid compensation.
