Caroline Donoghue, a Sussex dog groomer and social media influencer with nearly 700,000 followers, shared her alarming experience of being targeted by online scammers. After being approached through her agent to join a podcast, she was manipulated into giving access to her Meta Business Suite. Realizing too late that she was dealing with impersonators, she learned about the risks of such actions, as they can completely strip away a user's access and even lead to potential blackmail. Experts stress the vulnerability created by these actions.
The consequences of them getting access to your Facebook page is that they could take down your page, and maybe change the name of your page to show something else, to push out their message to your followers.
