"I was shocked and angry about the children's reaction but the adults' reactions are what broke me and brought me to tears."
"The British Transport Police (BTP) said it had launched an investigation and Transport for London (TfL) said it was "deeply sorry" and is investigating why Ms Choudry did not receive the help she needed."
"came home and asked 'what's racism?' and I was overjoyed."
"I couldn't believe it. I thought things had changed."
Sophia K Choudry, 47, was racially abused by four children on the Elizabeth line on 7 September, repeatedly called the P-word. She filmed the incident and the video has been viewed two million times on TikTok. The children tried to cover their faces and some passengers criticised her; one replied 'so what?' after she explained she had been abused. She called police and activated the passenger alarm as the youngsters left at Hayes and Harlington, but no British Transport Police officers met her and she continued to Slough where her husband collected her. TfL says it is investigating, expressed being 'deeply sorry', and reported Elizabeth line hate crimes rose nearly 50% last year.
