Jurgen Klopp defended his decision to join Red Bull as head of global soccer, explaining it's impossible to please everyone, particularly fans of former club Borussia Dortmund.
In a recent podcast, Klopp shared his perspective: 'You cannot make your decision depending on what reactions there will be. I love all my former clubs, but I don't know what I could have done so that everyone is happy.'
Klopp did not see Red Bull's involvement in football critically and described joining them as a 'fantastic' opportunity. He emphasized that fan criticism was 'not hugely relevant' to him.
He remarked on the impossibility of making choices based on public opinion, stating, 'I can't poll the fans and ask them, 'what should I do?''
