Wrexham duo plot downfall of former club Ipswich
"I can't wait to see many close friends of mine that I spent two-and-a-half years with, I'm looking forward to seeing them, and hopefully we can beat them."
"I love playing against my old sides and I love scoring against them too."
"They were in League One at the time and my ambition was to play in the Premier League with that club, and we did it. It was really good for me and my career so I'm just thankful for that. We had the same team, near enough, from League One and everyone knew how each other played. It was a crazy few years, some of the best of my career to be fair."
"I can only speak highly about that club. Everything around that club is amazing. I have very fond memories of the place, of course. Getting promoted to the Premier League was incredible. I'll look forward to seeing some of the guys."
Kieffer Moore and Nathan Broadhead previously played key roles in Ipswich Town's rise and now represent Wrexham as they seek an FA Cup fifth-round place. Wrexham would face Ipswich, whose last fifth-round appearance came in 1996–97. Broadhead said he looks forward to seeing close friends from his two-and-a-half years at Ipswich and hopes to beat them. Moore said he enjoys playing against and scoring on former clubs and spoke highly of Ipswich. Broadhead joined from Everton in January 2023, scored eight goals in 19 league appearances to aid promotion, then added 13 league goals in 2023–24; Moore contributed seven goals late in that season.
