Wolves boss Pereira signs new three-year deal
"Vitor has made a very positive impact during his time at Wolves. He's brought clarity, energy and a team spirit that gives us a foundation to be successful. Now is a time for stability. Vitor needs time to work with the squad, to build a chemistry with new players, and we will do everything to support him and his staff."
"We will increase our level, with [the] ambition to make our supporters proud on the pitch,"
"I'm very proud to be Wolves head coach. It's an honour for me. This is the moment that we need to be united."
Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has signed a new three-year contract after arriving in December 2024 and guiding the club from 19th to a 16th-place finish. His previous deal had been set to expire in summer 2026. Wolves sit bottom of the table following four opening league defeats. The club emphasised Pereira’s positive impact, citing clarity, energy and team spirit and called for stability and support as he builds chemistry with new players. Several key departures during the summer included Matheus Cunha to Manchester United for £62.5m, Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester City for £31m and Nelson Semedo to Fenerbahce, while speculation over Jørgen Strand Larsen and five new recruits added early-season disruption.
