Harry Maguire's return from a hamstring injury bolstered Manchester United defensively and influenced their victory over Manchester City. James Tarkowski was dominant defensively and dangerous attacking in Everton's win at Aston Villa. Lewis Hall was the best player on the pitch in Newcastle's draw at Wolves and is making a case for England selection. Crysencio Summerville scored to give West Ham a flying start.
