"Watford have appointed Edward Still as their new head coach following Javi Gracia's exit earlier this month. The 35-year-old, who is the older brother of former Southampton boss Will Still, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract at Vicarage Road. This comes after Gracia handed in his resignation after only three months in charge during his second spell, with Still taking charge of a Watford side who are just three points off the play-off places in 11th."
""I'm so thrilled and proud to be here. This is a club which has a big place in English football and a fantastic history," said Still."
""All of the focus will be on winning games as quickly as possible and getting the best out of the players. Fans can expect our team to be aggressive, really compact defensively and attack with pace.""
Edward Still, 35, has been appointed Watford head coach on a two-and-a-half-year contract, succeeding Javi Gracia who resigned after three months. Still joins a club positioned 11th in the Championship and three points off the play-off places. He previously worked at Anderlecht as assistant and briefly interim head coach, and has coaching experience with Charleroi, KAS Eupen and KV Kortrijk. Still pledged to prioritise winning quickly, to get the best from the squad and to field an aggressive, compact defensive unit that attacks with pace. He will take charge first against Preston North End as Watford seek a first league win since New Year’s Day.
