Twente handed partial stadium closure over racist abuse

Uefa has ordered Twente to partially close their stadium after fans racially abused Lazio winger Loum Tchaouna during a Europa League match on 24 October.
Twente has been fined 40,000 euros and required to close part of their stadium during their next European fixture following racist incidents by their supporters.
Other federations, including Hungary and Bosnia-Herzegovina, have also faced sanctions from Uefa, highlighting the ongoing issue of racism and discrimination in football.
Panathinaikos received a suspended stadium closure and a hefty fine for multiple offenses, including discriminatory conduct and use of a laser pointer during their game against Chelsea.
